Backyard Gang Full Day Camp

After the success of our CNY full day camp, we'll be running 4 days of FULL DAY fun over Easter! Get ready for action packed mornings full of BYG adventures followed by slower paced afternoons as we get stuck into our own BYG woodwork project, creating an awesome masterpiece to take home at the end of the camp! Below you will find all the details you need to know ahead of signing up...

When and where:

30th March, 31st March, 1st April & 2nd April
9:00 - 15:00 each day
The Wilson Trail (near Hong Kong Parkview)
Age: 5-9 years old

Camp schedule:

Mornings (9am - 11:30am)
DAY ONE: EARTH - Mountain Hike & Dorodango Balls
DAY TWO: WIND - Bubble Workshop
DAY THREE: WATER - Stream Scramble & Dam Building
DAY FOUR: FIRE - Fire Safety, Fire Starting & Cooking

Lunch (11:30am - 12:30pm)
On days 1-3, please bring along a packed lunch.  
On day 4, BYG will provide a lunch* of hot dogs, corn and yummy s'mores which the kids will help to prepare and cook over the fire.

*note: please let us know of any dietary requirements related to the BYG lunch when signing up.

Afternoons (12:30pm - 3pm)
We'll be turning our Outdoor Classroom into our Outdoor Workshop as we spend the afternoons learning how to handle tools safely, working together on a special woodwork project.
DAY ONE: Planning & Prep (Sawing & Sanding)
DAY TWO: The Main Build
DAY THREE: Painting & Decorating
DAY FOUR: Final Touches & Testing

What to bring:

Please send the kids wearing trainers with good grip (please no crocs, water shoes or rain boots) with a small backpack containing a full water bottle, small snack and insect repellent.  Then depending on the weather, don't forget hats and sun cream when sunny and a raincoat if wet.  As this is a full day camp, please send the kids with a packed lunch for days 1, 2 and 3.  Lunch will be provided by BYG on the final day of camp.

Further details including a google link to the exact meeting point will be sent out once registration is complete. Nearer to the time, we'll set up and add you to a session specific WhatsApp group which will then be the main form of communication where we will share any updates as well as a video at the end of the session so you can see the kids in action!
